I watched both the NBA and NHL drafts this year and was seriously bothered by some of the interviews.
On the NHL side they were asking these (White) teenagers what kind of car they were going to buy with their first paycheque.
On the NBA side they were asking these (Black) teenagers what they were going to buy their mothers as a thank you for all their sacrifices.
So I did a little investigative work (one quick one Google) wanting to see if someone has actually looked into this "Poor Black = NBA" and "Rich White = NHL."
And came up with this. Safe to say that White (Poor) men can't jump.
Then I looked at it the other way around and you've got Black man PK Subban raising money for kids to play hockey.
Funny how the world works in 2013, eh?
